Plante médicinale appelée aussi tetzmitic; la matière laiteuse suintant des feuilles et des bourgeons de cette plante était employée contre les inflammations des yeux (Sah.).
La plante appelée tetzmitic, encore appelée cuauhôlli (transcrit quaolli) est décrite dans Sah11,161. Sedanum sedroideum Moc.
